Anime

One thing I enjoy the most is watching animes. It is also know as animation originating in Japan. There are many genres of animes.There is Romance, Comedy, Action, Horror and many more. My Favourite animes include shows like One Piece, Bleach and Naruto. But out of them all, I prefer One Piece the most. It is about a boy named Monkey.D.Luffy who wants to be a Pirate King. As he goes on his adventure, He has many friends who becomes part of his pirate crew and help him achieve his goal and find the greatest treasure of the sea 'One Piece' in order to be the Pirate King.This anime is a mix of action and comedy.Animes are really nice to watch and are very entertaining. It usually lets you kill time when you are bored and it also lightens up your mood when you are unhappy. Generally, Anime is a good way to relieve stress and also a time when you can enjoy and relax yourself.

Floorball Match

Today, we had a match against a team called 'Fat Boy'. The match was held at Republic Polytechnic and we had a hard time getting there. It was located at Woodlands and we spent more than 1 hour trying to get there. We traveled together as a team so we would not get lost on our way there. Although we traveled together, our sense of direction was still very poor. We didn't know which bus to take and which train to take so we almost ended up losing our way. When we arrived at Republic Polytechnic, we were almost late and our opponents were there warming up. We quickly changed our shoes and joined in. Soon, the match started and we were all really nervous. The opponent were all huge and strong. most importantly, they were much older than us. Playing against them is never going to be easy. We had a bad start as we conceded a few goals. Nevertheless, it never affected us and we continued to try our best. Surprisingly, we managed to counter attack and scored goals as well. By the end of the game, the opponent scored 8 goals and we only scored 2. After the match we were all very tired but still, we all went for a meal at KFC together. We did not let the lost change our mindset and hope that we do better for the other upcoming matches.

A special moment I enjoyed with my family.

During the June holidays last year, my parents took my siblings and I to Universal Studios at Sentosa . I was really excited at that point of time as my parents rarely took my siblings and I to theme parks and enjoy ourselves. However, it was my sister's birthday then, so my parents decided to make an exception since she performed well for her previous examination. When we arrived at Universal Studios, it was really packed as it was the holidays and many people went there to enjoy themselves. I was quite disappointed as there were very little rides and the most thrilling ones were under construction. Although there were not many rides, I still enjoyed myself a lot. For once in my whole life, my parents took a roller coaster with me. In the speed of light, the whole day ended really fast and we returned home. We were all very tired and happy at the same time. Especially my sister. I could tell that she enjoyed this birthday celebration and how much she wished that day would not end. We proceeded to sing my sister a birthday song and ate her birthday cake. Even though it wasn't my birthday, It was one of the most enjoyable day of my life.

A moment spent alone doing something I enjoyed

During the holidays, when my parents leave the country for their own holiday, I would be left at home to do my homework. After finishing my homework, I would usually just use the computer to kill time and hoping that time would pass faster. Until my friends bought me this game called "Starcraft 2". It is an extremely fun game and the creators actually looked into every small details of the game. Its graphics are much better than any normal strategy game. In this game, there are 3 races, the protoss and zerg which are basically different species of aliens, and the terran, also know as the humans. What so addictive about this game is really simple. Everytime you play it, it is never the same and there is no end to it. It is a great way to kill time and I definitely enjoyed playing it. In order to win this game, you need both speed and skill. It is really difficult to win a game of Starcraft when its your first time playing. So practice is needed and this is also one of the reasons why I never get bored of it. Unlike most of my friends, I am still a beginner at this game and I am still practicing, trying my best to catch up with them. But of course, breaks are needed when playing this game. There is no way one person could sit through the whole day playing this game. Still, studies come first and no matter how fun or addictive it is, I won't let it affect my school work.

Something that took place in school.

We had our home economics lessons in school today and it was really fun. We made queen cakes which were delicious and easy to make. Our home economics teacher, Ms Hashima instructed us to prepare and wash many different equipment for the making of the cake. For example, the Electric whisk and the plates to carry flour and eggs. We had a hard time preparing all the equipment as there were lots of things to wash. Finally, Ms Hashima called us over and asked us to watch closely to whatever she did. She explained to us the steps of making the cake and told us to spend too much time making the cake. She talked a lot so it really annoyed me as I wanted to finish making the cake fast and eat it. After her long explanation, we were sent back to our own tables to make the Queen cake. I hastily creamed the butter and added the egg . After that, I sift the flour and added it in the mixture too. I then stirred the whole mixture, hoping that it would be successful. I spread the mixture evenly into a few cupcake holders and put them into the oven. I cleaned up the mess I made while waiting for the cake to rise. Washing all the equipment was tiring as all of them were stained with egg. But all the hard work paid off when I realised that my cake was ready! I excitedly took out the tray from the oven and carefully took the cake out of its holder. The cake was hot but it smelt really delicious as Vanilla essence was added. I quickly took a bite when suddenly Ms Hashima shouted very loudly that I thought I was going to go deaf. She asked me who allowed me to eat the Queen cake and I quickly swallowed the cake in my mouth. However, there was no way I could escape Ms Hashima's scolding. She deducted half a mark from my score and that was it. My full marks was gone. At least now I know I cant eat in her class.
